Lone Star Bling Giveaway!

Good morning friends! I have a very talented woman taking over my blog today. Lindsay from Lone Star Bling is here to share her story on why she started her own shop and is also giving away one of her handmade pieces!

Hello all! My name is Lindsay, born and raised in Austin, Texas. I quickly turned Aggie upon moving to College Station, it really is a way of life! 

I am super crafty and love learning new things (hints my addiction to Pinterest and blogs!). Faith, family, love, and friendship are the most important things to me. I am obsessed with music, I am not sure I couldn't function with out it! My life in College Station came to a halt, when my boyfriend got an amazing opportunity to work in the oil field and jump start his career and start making some money to set aside for his future. How do I fit into that equation? Well it's simple, I am girl in love! And we are so attached at the hip that we do nothing without one another. Is it a perfect scenario? No, but perfect for us!

I actually know the fabulous Ruthie from our days as Mavs, (some of you are thinking the NBA team?) Let me specify! From Highschool. Crazy, Right? I thought 'what a great way to get my name out there, I would so love to post on her blog!' I mean who in their right mind wouldn't read it? It is jam packed with girly tid bits, romance, food (nom-nom) and most of all, Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Which brings me to why I am here! It is not often that thanks is given where it is deserved. Especially in the media world. If there are any country lovers out there, then you are familiar with the song " God Gave Me You" by Blake Shelton. I heard this song and it inspired a great idea for me:

And this is something that any Christian would love! Mother, father, grandparents, significant others, friends, YOU name it! I enjoy making these for people and knowing that a little piece of me mixed with God is hanging on a wall somewhere! Just a friendly reminder to thank the big man up stairs for the special people in our lives. Cool things about these frames is they can be customized just for you! Color scheme, font of text, size of frame, ribbon used and rhinestone to give it some Texas sparkle!
