First Grade Drawing

A first grade girl handed in the drawing below for her homework assignment....

The teacher graded it and the child brought it home.

She returned to school the next day with the following note:

Dear Ms. Davis,

I want to be perfectly clear on my child's homework illustration. It is NOT me on a dance pole on a stage in a strip joint surrounded by male customers with money.
I work at Home Depot and had commented to my daughter how much money we made in the recent snowstorm. This drawing is of me selling a shovel.

hehehe :-)

How funny and cute is that?! My mom sent it to me in an email last night and when I realized, once again, I had nothing to write about today and was short on time, I knew I had to share. Kids really do say and do the darnest things. Their imaginations are incredible and I love how inquisitive their little minds are and how easily fascinated they are by the smallest things. It may surprise you (not) that I practically came out of the womb talking. I love reading through my baby book at some of the hysterical things I used to say to my mom, like asking her "do you want more sex in your life? do you want better sex mom?"....someone was watching a little too much TV at age 3!

Anyway, I hope this cute drawing can lighten your day and give you a little laugh! Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Oh that is SOO funny!! When I first saw it I thought it was someone working behind the counter of a bank! But then after reading, it does totally look like she's dancing on a pole hahah!

See? If itty bitty Ruthie had no problem talking about sex, I don't know why so many adults do! ;)

That is awesome. Ha ha. Love it. Even the way the stick person has her little hip swayed out suggests she is NOT shoveling and is hip thrusting for cash!
