Home Tour Video

I was kinda bummed at how little they showed our house after we had moved in on the show. We spent so much time talking about the chevron wall during filming yet they barely showed it (I know some of you spotted it though!). We've actually done a lot since they filmed out house and I thought it would be fun to do a little house tour. I will apologize up front about my Blair Witch filming skills but I shot this with my FlipCam while walking and throwing the ball for Ernie.

I love your house! I'm glad you made this video because some how my dvr wasn't working the day your episode of House Hunters premiered. Such a bummer! I was looking forward to watching it. You will have to let us all know when they will replay it next.

We bought houses around the same time and it's fun to see the progress on your home.

Ruthie, your house looks amazing! I love all the paint you used, the color looks so great and really adds a lot to the house. I love all the little accents you have everywhere too, it's so perfect! You guys have done an amazing job :)

Also thanks for the info about the necklace on Instagram! I know a lot of people have been ordering from GroopDeals but on there it said it would take like a month to come in so I'm going to order from Ebay instead :)

I will direct Austin to the link haha. Thank you for sharing! We have the same tile that you have in your entry way. If you ever do anything in your life, get a steam mop. I lasted a week mopping in this house before I hit up Amazon. BEST $50 I have ever spent, hands down! It works really well and is super easy to use.

I'm so bummed I missed your house hunters episode! I had a reminder in my phone and it never went off. Ha. I loved watching this little video tour. Your house is so cute and I am in love with your style. I like all the bright colors and not so matchy matchy look. I love the pieces of furniture you painted. It makes them so fun and not boring. Ha. And your chevron and stripe wall...wow. I'm so jealous of that! This makes me so excited to get a house of our own. We're still living in an apartment and I can't wait to have a ouse of our own to decorate.

Katie Price said...

You new house is fab! I love all the space you have, and that you are filling it with hand-crafted items. I'm so impressed that you painted & re-furnished all those pieces. You go girl!

I love the tour! How fun! I wish Arsen would let me paint our house fun bright colors...he's a black/white/grey kinda guy, so I have to ease him into it with furniture and accessories :)

P.S., Ernie is the cutest thing ever. I wish you weren't three hours away because he and Addie need a playdate!

Ruthie, I loved your HH episode! So fun to watch AND read your blog!

Also, I really like your master bed cover from BB&B. I looked on the website but couldn't find it :( Is it a comforter or duvet? Was it a set? Do you remember what it was called? If you remember, thanks!!

Love the house tour, Ruthie - your home is beautiful! I love your color palette; such a soothing and calming space...especially the seafoam color - so pretty.

I'm so glad you took us on a more in-depth tour of the house; it all seemed so rushed on the show and I was bummed to not see more of your personal touches throughout! Lovely space, pretty lady! xo
