Heirloom gifts for my babies

Since baby girl Hart will use lots of Ford's hand me downs (carseat, swaddles, bottles, etc), I want to get her a few special things that can be her very own. I love that my parents saved certain items from my childhood for me to have as an adult and I already think about that for my children. When Ford was born I got a sterling silver necklace and cuff bracelet with his initials that I hope to gift to his wife one day. My grandparents also have gotten each of their grandchildren personalized sterling silver spoons and have continued the tradition with their great grand babies (Ford had his first bite of food from a silver spoon!). In hoping baby girl has as much hair as her big brother, we got this beautiful silver engraved brush and comb set from Reed and Barton. We do plan on sharing her name but I wanted to shield the monogram until we have a chance to reveal it. You'll just have to be patient!

I can't wait to brush my baby girl's sweet head of hair with this brush, I am sure Ford will love to help with that task. I plan on saving this for her to pass on to her children when she gets older. My family is all about tradition and I am excited to instill that in my children.

Reed and Barton offers the most precious, heirloom gifts for special occasions. Silver plated cups, silver spoons, snow globes, frames, brush sets, and more. These make the perfect, unique gift for a Christening, Baptism, birthday, or Christmas. Reed and Barton is known for beautiful flatware sets, jewelry boxes, crystal, and serve ware as well. I remember what the middle name will be if you stuck with what you said last time. :) Which is my middle name and I love it and want to pass it on to a girl someday!

I would pick the Regal Beads Sterling Baby Cup if I could have anything from that collection.

I love the bells and the brush set as well. Malley is starting to get more hair now, so that would be perfect for her.

I would love a brush/comb set for a lil' girl if we were ever blessed with one. This is so special! I can't wait to find out the name!!!

We found out recently that baby #2 is a girl (our first child is a boy, who's just a few months older than Ford). And I love the idea of having something very special made for her, since like you guys, she will be utilizing a lot of our son's things. The monogrammed brush set would definitely be my first choice for her:)

Thanks for hosting this beautiful giveaway, Ruthie.
