I exclusively pump and bottle fed my oldest son for his first 8 months and I am currently doing the same for my 8-week old son with no problems at all! I feel you on the Moby wrap too girl, every time I put my youngens in them I found myself constantly re-wrapping them because they felt insecure and good gracious were they hot to wear!Lauren H Edmondsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15705144038175201813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6854389253351284318.post-58601974725944153292015-01-10T23:56:42.850-06:002015-01-10T23:56:42.850-06:00Hello Ruthie, I am a long-time reader but first-ti...Hello Ruthie, I am a long-time reader but first-time commentor. I have loved reading about your beautiful family, and your words about God and His love for us always seem to come at just the right time. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this blog, it never fails to make me smile.
I'm commenting for the first time because I'm a bit of a babywearing fanatic, and I love that you are interested in it! I will encourage you to look up two fantastic Facebook groups that I am part of, "Everyday Babywearing" and "Babywearing 102". Those groups really opened my eyes to all the amazing possibilities, and I don't think I would be the mother I am without babywearing. Please consider joining, we would love to have you. :)
God bless you and your family!
Lauren McNickleThe McNickle Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01207453481868965167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6854389253351284318.post-64929774373977887362015-01-10T08:57:34.715-06:002015-01-10T08:57:34.715-06:00I was surprised at how much we needed/wanted for o...I was surprised at how much we needed/wanted for our second, too. The even bigger surprise ... Baby #2 liked completely different things than #1. My first loved the swing and never used the bumbo ... exact opposite with my second. Plus there are so many new things constantly hitting the market. We really liked the Rock & Play! We bought 2 foscam cameras from amazon ($60 each) and then a $5 app and can link to our iPhones and iPad. They have worked wonderfully! When we have a sitter we leave them the iPad and can peek in on our phones if we need to see how everyone is doing!Laurenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07770063510483740530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6854389253351284318.post-73092636960171248312015-01-09T21:41:41.607-06:002015-01-09T21:41:41.607-06:00I got the Ameda pump through my insurance as well ...I got the Ameda pump through my insurance as well and it is HORRID!!! It was important to me to be able to pump hands free. The bra for the medela to pump hands free is awful and the zipper is a pain. Plus with the medela flanges I had to turn the pump all the way up. Enter Freemie. Freemie is a new pump where the flanges and the bottles are one cup that goes inside your bra or nursing tank. They make a connector kit for the medela as well as their own pump and let me tell you it changed my life!!! With the freemie cups I only have to turn the pump dial to one dot and I pump so much more in half the time. You should seriously look into the connector kit!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06627024770316730343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6854389253351284318.post-26123011547344682312015-01-09T14:31:10.723-06:002015-01-09T14:31:10.723-06:00My list for #2 is very similar! Since you'll probably be swimming etc this summer I recommend looking into a wrap that's appropriate for a pool! They have ring slings & a moby type wrap, I don't own one yet so I don't have one in particular to recommend but check out etsy, I'm sure that's where I'll end up getting ours. :)Rebekah @ Chronicles from the Peanut Galleryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13073935181015498072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6854389253351284318.post-80857025187667294822015-01-09T13:50:29.459-06:002015-01-09T13:50:29.459-06:00I love, love, LOVE my Medela Pump In Style, which ...I love, love, LOVE my Medela Pump In Style, which I received from my insurance company. Even though you got one for Ford, I would call your insurance again and see if they'll send you another one. If they offer a Medela, take it!

We also LOVE our Samsung monitor. Husband got real creative one night and used my camera tripod to mount it. We've had it that way ever since. Actually my friend has a Medela and her supply tanked early on (she swears it's bc of her pump). I think every body responds to pumps differently. Hopefully the Medela works perfectly for you and your body. Not being able to pump sufficiently is a huge stressor."B"https://www.blogger.com/profile/15429522059247923987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6854389253351284318.post-66876382939350977982015-01-09T12:40:38.163-06:002015-01-09T12:40:38.163-06:00All this baby talk makes me want to have one soone...All this baby talk makes me want to have one sooner than later.. also, as far as potty training early goes (coming from a preschool teacher), Boys are ALOT harder than girls but if he has interest in it than I would def go for it, otherwise it will just be a headache. I have a few boys in my class who parents want them potty trained but they just aren't interested and I spend most of my days changing clothes because they keep having accidents. I Can't wait to follow Lucy along in her stages as well and seeing the bond her and Ford build.Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00123717024530081160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6854389253351284318.post-17954076445817740852015-01-09T10:22:07.169-06:002015-01-09T10:22:07.169-06:00Our lists are so similar! I'm also going to be toting Barrett around in a Solly Baby wrap and I can't wait! I love their colors too. I'm registered for the same video monitor and Barrett's baby book is a C.R. Gibson. Love it!! Great minds think alike. :) Sara Hintonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05285471576444058309noreply@blogger.com
