Love, love, love the Jesus Storybook Bible. Even my oldest (9 1/2) still enjoys it!
I have read Give them Grace and shepherding a child's heart. Was not a big fan of give the Grace , but loved shepherding .
We are dedicating Colin next weekend and our church (Westwood Community Church in Excelsior, MN) gave us "The Power of a Praying Parent" and I LOVE it! I'm not even half way thru because as you say, when do mamas get a chance to read?! It has so many verses for a worrying parent to pray and what mama doesn't worry! Thanks for the other recommendations- I will certainly look to get a few of these!
I have grace based parenting but haven't started it yet. I heard Ted Tripp speak a few weeks ago and loved what he had to say. I can't wait to read the book. I'd be interested to hear what you think about Give them grace
We have the Jesus Storybook and like it a lot. My daughter is still a little young for it but in a few years, I'm sure she will love it. What we use now since she is only 13 months is Baby's First Bible and Baby's First Book of Prayers.
These are so sweet! Love your suggestions because I have been wanting to buy some for Scarlett. I can't wait to get a few children's bible stories for Scarlett, so fun!
I know that I can't wait to raise Baby Johnston in Christ, and need to start looking into these books! I think they would be great to read while pregnant!
This is wonderful, thank you so much for sharing! I'm going to need to check out a few of these.
Ive heard great things about the Jesus Storybook! I will definitely be investing in it before the next 6 months is up and baby is here!
I am planning on joining a bible study that goes over "Give Them Grace" as it has been recommended to me many times. I mean, how can we teach our children about grace if we don't show them what it looks like?
It's impressive that you are getting ideas from this post as well as from our argument made here. facebook sign in
