As hard as the last few weeks of pregnancy is, and as anxious as I am to have my son in my arms, I know I will miss this fleeting stage of life. The little jolts and kicks, a constant reminder that I am growing this baby inside of me. And not to mention the sweet and humble smiles and help given by complete strangers at the grocery store, bank, church, etc. I know the next couple of weeks will be physically and emotionally tough but I am confident in my role as a mother and can't wait for this journey to start. I am so happy we've had many opportunities to capture this fleeting stage of parenthood through blog posts and photos. Thanks to Chris at Hat Creek Photography for these great memories! (I was 36w5d in the outdoor photos and 38w1d in the indoor ones)
I bought that glass little whale just a few weeks before we found out we were pregnant. I found it at a thrift store in Dallas and for some reason was so drawn to it. Now I know that reason...
Below is one of my favorite pictures...I had to use the arrow to cover up his name though :)
Now come on baby Hart... I think August 2nd is a great birthday!
