I'd love to meet you...

...at the Influence Conference!

T minus 12 days until our family of 3 heads north to Indianapolis to experience something God has been so kind to put in our lives. I could have never imagined my blog would allow me to travel across the US, be in community with other women, and use it as a platform to further His Kingdom.

Today I am linking up with the Influence Net Blog for a little pre conference meet and greet....

2 things I will pack in my bag
-Non maternity clothing...it's been almost 5 weeks since I had Ford and truth be told I am still wearing maternity pants to protect my incision and house my postpartum bump. I never realized that lots of non maternity clothes aren't nursing friendly but I am excited to bust out outfits that have been collecting dust in my closet for 10 months!

-My cell phone/laptop- I plan on using the conference as a way to unwind and focus my heart on what God has in store for me over the weekend but I will absolutely be documenting everything! As a first timer, I've read so many posts and recaps about how powerful this weekend will be and I don't want to forget anything

2 things I am looking forward to
-Hugging my bloggy friends in real life! I have had the pleasure of meeting so many bloggers thanks to work travel before I had my son and it feels surreal that I will finally get to meet some of the women who have made such an influential impact on my life

-Kara-Kae's Mom+Blogger workshop. As a new mommy whose full time job is feeding, changing diapers, and being the COO of our household, I can't wait to learn from one of my favorite veteran mamas on how to calmly balance blogging, family, and life while pursing Jesus.

--------------------------------------------

I'd love to know if you are going to the conference and look forward to meeting you! I will be the short brunette next to the beefy man with a faux hawk ... oh and baby with a faux hawk in the Ergo too!

Yaaaaaaay! I can't wait to see you Ruthie. We are going to have the best time! And I am totally looking forward to wearing non-nursing friendly clothes! This will be the longest I've been away from Eli and I'm a little nervous, but looking forward to eating all the eggs (he's allergic) and drinking all the caffeine I want (since I'll be pumping and dumping all weekend ;)

This will be my first time at influence too! I can't wait to just soak it all in. Your little Ford is a sweetie, and he will make it super easy to recognize you! I'm a fellow Texan, though really I'm a Sooner ;) Looking forward to meeting you!

I went last year and I know you will have a blast! It's so amazing meeting people you've built relationships with online. My favorite saying from influence was "the Internet is real" and that it is! Sad I'm missing out on getting to meet you and that little man of yours this year.

Girl... I wish I could meet you, but I'm not going. :(
Maria
ps... I wore maternity clothes until about 3 months and I didn't even have an incision, so my hats off to you for getting in them so soon! :)

Have a GREAT time!

Yay! This is my first time stumbling on to your blog (from the link-up). We have two things in common. 1. I'm bringing my baby boy. (But he's a couple of years older.) 2. I'm bringing my husband also. Can't wait to meet ya and your sweet baby boy. Peace to you. - Ashley

your baby has a faux hawk?!?! That is awesome.
I've got a 2 month old niece and, though she has hair, she doesn't have enough to do any styling with it. :)
Influence is going to be great, babies and all. Good to know you (& a couple others) are bringing laptops...I've been debating.

Hi Ruthie! I'm Molly and I just found out last weekend that I get to go to the conference. I am so excited and I know God is leading me there for a reason.

I read through some of your blog posts and I can't wait to meet you. I have two little boys (5 and 3) and I'm pregnant with a girl! I hope to get the chance to meet you. I'm very nervous because I don't know anyone. But I hope to make some new friends :)

Your fam is so very cute! I have two and 1/2 month old twin girls and am coming to the conference! I'm glad I'm not the only one with tiny ones that will be coming. I am actually not bringing them because I live in Indianapolis, but I'm glad you are able to still come with such a young little thing. Hope to see you there!
