Thoughts: excuse me but am I really half way through this pregnancy?! I am soaking up every minute of this 2nd trimester energy while I have it. We've been busy inside and outside of the house, crossing off projects from our to do list. This has been a really enjoyable week of pregnancy
Baby: He is the size of a banana this week and 10.5 oz. He's now producing meconium (which Jon loves saying) and his developing taste buds allow him to taste whatever I am eating. He's developed a sleep cycle and now sleeps 12-14 hours a day.
Symptoms: I tried quitting Zofran cold turkey and that lasted about 1.5 days before I caved and took a pill. I think it would be easier if I was able to be home all day but I work outside the home and wasn't able to concentrate with the nausea and looming vomit. It's crazy how powerful (and helpful) 1/2 a pill can be. For now, I am taking it once a day and feeling awesome! Tailbone pain has been intense this week and I'm guessing it is here to stay. My belly button is starting to flatten out and become an outie too.
Movement: I thought it would be hard to tell the difference between baby movements and everything else that's going on but I definitely know when he's moving around. I notice it mostly when I am sitting sedentary at work and right before we go to sleep and are laying in bed. Jon had his hands on my belly last week and said he felt 3 little thumps! When baby is really active, Jon puts his hands on my belly and feels little kicks...it is the best feeling. There are times where I almost feel sick like I've lost my tummy on a rollercoaster because he is flipping and moving so much.
Workouts: We have been out of town for 4 days (returning late tonight) and haven't really worked out much. Last week I got a few weights in and been going on short walks but I've been super active around the house rather than in the gym.
His first pair of brightly colored skinnies like his daddy!

You are seriously the cutest pregnant lady ever!! Enjoy every minute--can't wait for more updates :D
Will there come a point when you won't have to take that pill anymore for sickness? I mean you won't have to take it for your whole pregnancy right? I don't know how all that works lol
You look great for 20 weeks! Glad you're not feeling as nauseous!
I love your new blog design, it's so fresh and cute! How exciting that you are half way through your pregnancy!! And seriously, you are too adorable with your baby belly :)

You are so cute!
I was super sick during my pregnancy. I had to take a Zofran every 3-4 hours, unless I wanted to feel like I was dying! Maybe it's because I had to rely on it so much, but my midwife told me you can't quit it cold turkey. You have to ease off of it. Something about quitting like that makes you sick.
But, if this gives you any hope, I was completely off of it by 26 weeks!
Oh goodness, that photo of your high-jacked pants is awesome! Made me giggle. I still truly love how frank and open you're being with your pregnancy. It's obviously a way for you to track yourself now, and look back on when your son is born. He's clearly going to be stylish in those skinnies :)
HALFWAY ALREADY!? I swear you are the most precious lady I have ever seen. Baby Hart is going to be the most loved little boy in the world!
Halfway, woohooo!!!!!
This is so exciting! : ) I'm so happy for you.
I had a lot of tailbone pain also, and I got a doughnut pillow at the local pharmacy. It really can help....I promise.
xoxo
