Delicious and easy French bread

I will forever be indebted to Amanda, my bloggin' sister, for introducing me to this recipe. She posted a picture and said it was delicious and I was in the kitchen within hours making it myself. And have made it so many times since. Remind me not to make this bread when Jon is traveling because I WILL eat the whole loaf myself! It's just better to share a whole loaf ya know? Feel better about yourself :-)

Ingredients
3 cups flour (if you want to use whole wheat, only substitute 1 cup)
2 tsp yeast from packet
1 tsp salt
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup olive oil

1. Combine half of the flour and the rest of the dry ingredients and stir
2. Add in the water and olive oil
3. Mix in the remaining flour
4. Form into one big loaf or two mini loafs and place on a greased baking sheet
5. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes then turn the oven down to 350 and bake for 10 minutes
**psstttt... warm up a piece of bread and slather it with Nutella... it tastes like a donut!

Off topic: I have been getting a lot of great comments/questions about my pregnancy, church, faith, etc lately but can't respond to them because no email address is attached. Please please please make sure your email address is linked to your profile when commenting and if you're not sure, go ahead and leave it in the comment! If I haven't responded to a question, this is why :)

Yummy! Bread loves me. And this seems easier than all starter kit stuff.

Oh, how wonderful to discover that you linked to my One-Hour Bread recipe! So glad you are enjoying it.
And oh, my, congrats on the little bun in the oven! So excited for you.

I also had terrible morning sickness for two months and was on disability because of it. But it's soo worth it :) Hang in there.
