Summer is here and Ford is having a blast! Our mornings are either spent inside or at the pool and in the late afternoons our backyard gets really good shade so we have our own baby water park set up. I couldn't convince Jon into us getting a pool so blow up water toys will have to do! I keep it set up all the time so we can go out there for 20 minutes by ourselves or invite friends over for a few hours. Ford is a little water baby and has so much fun with buckets, animals, balls, etc in the water. We have this splash pad (but cheaper at Target, couldn't find it on their website), a cheap baby pool from Wal Mart, and a slip N slide. Ford convinced Jon into getting on the slide last weekend and it was the cutest thing ever! He kept saying "Mama and baby girl slide" while Lucy and I were lounging on the deck.... I think I will let Jon be the fun parent :). These pictures are just too cute not to share. I love my boys!

I laughed out loud at the first picture of Jon going down the baby slide. So funny!
These are such great photos!!! haha Love them!
Aw so fun!!! Our new backyard has great shade, so I can't wait to set stuff up for the kids. We joined the Gtown Rec Center which has a great outdoor pool perfect for kids (there's a wading pool section with lots of kid stuff) and we were there for hours this weekend, so fun! I can't wait to have little brown babies by the end of summer. :)
I have a 2.5 year old and newborn and we just joined the pool. Any advice/gear that will help me take them both solo? How do you keep Lucy out of the sun but still allow Ford to swim? I have a puddle jumper life vest for my 2.5 year old (which is amazing and a must-have if you don't already have one) but I still want to be in the water with him. I have worn the baby using the ergo but he gets really hot. Thanks!
Ford looks like a teenager in the second photo! I love their match sunnies :)
I love these pictures!! Jon looks like is having just as much fun, if not more than Ford! Cute little family :)
Naked babies are the best. My son always plays outside on the trampoline or with the water sprinklers in his birthday suit!
