Today I have yet again another Pinterest recipe (btw thank you Pinterest for making me an acceptable, home cooking housewife). These are delicious no bake granola bars/bites that my hubby and I devoured within days. The awesome thing about this recipe is that you probably have all the ingredients in your pantry. Oh and I did change the original recipe slightly. My version is below.
Ingredients
2 large overripe bananas
1 cup oats
1 cup crunchy cereal (my favorite granola is Cascadian Farms)
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp peanut butter
4 tbsp chocolate chips
4 tbsp raisins
3 tsp cocoa powder
1. Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl
2. Add wet ingredients and cocoa powder and mix well
3. Add all other ingredients and make sure the mixture is fully combined
4. I used my cookie scoop to scoop the mixture into mini muffin tins
5. Freeze 60 minutes before serving and enjoy! We like to keep them in the freezer and eat them straight out of the freezer
