1. I first felt like a grown up...nope, I still don't feel like one.
Sometimes I laugh and think to myself, have I really been married 3 years and
have a baby? I am barely 5 feet tall and can look pretty young without makeup
on so I giggle when I see myself in the mirror holding Ford looking like a
teenager.
2. I am one of a kind because...oooh tough. I'd like to say because that's who God made me but I'm one of a kind because I have only one really deep dimple, I broke my back 11 years ago, and 1 bunion on my left foot (ugh!).
3. Spanx...will never be found in my closet. Let it all hang out
ladies! Sure they'd be nice to stuff my postpartum belly into but comfort over style for this new mama.
4. My favorite family tradition...is the word Haboo. Read about what it
means to my family here.
5. The last thing I do before bed is...thank God for a husband who scratches my head while I fall asleep.
6. Happiness is...family dinners without TV or distractions, snoozing
on the couch on Sunday afternoons, and laughing so hard your abs get a solid
workout. It's recognizing that new mercies come every morning and grace is boundless.
Can you finish these sentences?

Haha. I love this! So fun. I agree with the adult thing. though I look way older than you:) my height has always made people tell me I look older :( however the whole I cannot believe I have a baby thing still hits me 19 months later!
Really like this post! I feel you on the "not being a grown up" part. I was completing tax stuff the other day sitting at the kitchen table and was like "no. this is something I'm supposed to be watching my dad do, not me actually doing it for my own family!".
So cute! I love learning more about you!

Awww, I love this. And Spanx are my best friend! HAHAHA!
Welllll...I'm letting it all hang out over here ;) Unless I shove it into my maternity leggings because gosh those things are still the comfiest item of clothing I own!!
What a fun linkup! I almost want to start blogging again so I can join ;) Love that photo of you and Ford! He is your mini-me and oh so adorable!!
Love this!!! Ford is so adorable! Such a cute picture of you two!
1. I first felt like a grown up when I got my first business card after completing grad school. People KNOW me! Haha.
2. I am one of a kind because I am totally recessive...left handed, red hair, green eyes, freckles :-)
3. Spanx under a bridesmaid dress are a huge mistake. A few drinks, and trying to wriggle free...no thank you!
4. My favorite family tradition is sending homemade Valentine's day cards. It's always been special to us.
5. The last thing I do before bed is arrange a pillow fortress these days to get comfortable being preggie!
6. Happiness is hiking through Washington with Cole and our dogs, fresh picked flowers, a meaningful sermon, frothy lattes, and unwinding at the end of the day.
I love this. Jon really scratches your head?!?1 haha...that's hilarious! Also...I bought my first spanx after T was born because I was in a wedding 2 weeks after...so needed!
What a great idea for a post!!

Who needs spanx when you got a belly band?? haha i used that sucker post partum and I swear it helped tighten up my gut :). Oh and i jokingly say i feel like a teen mom all the time? when the heck did i turn 25 and high school was 10 years ago??? seriously weird.
you are so cute!! And the whole not feeling like an adult thing, I tend to agree while I have had my moments, quite often I still feel like I am a teenager lol
I didn't even notice you only had one dimple - ha! Cute!
You are so cute!!!! Thanks for linking up ..... and CHEERS for lazy days on the couch. =)
Love this! I too am 5ft nothing and get asked multiple times if I want a kids menu while out with my boyfriend. And you are so lucky that your husband scratches your head while you sleep, that's the only way to fall asleep!
Fun! I'm definitely doing this next week.
Ugh = spanx. I wore some on Christmas Eve and immediately regretted it. Not fun.
I'm with you on feeling like a grown-up! I don't think I've ever properly felt like a grown-up. It's the (lack of) height and the good aging genes, I know! We both got 'em :]
i cant even. i love this all
and yes, you do look like a teenager.. buttt that just means when you are older..you will look like a mid-aged woman at 60.. deal in my book
