Randoms

I haven't done a random post in a while and I have random thoughts, pictures, and notes piling up so here we go!

Today shall go down as the Texas snow blizzard of 2014. School is cancelled, roads are closed... look at these dangerous conditions!
Where did my son get these eyelashes from? Seriously?!

My mom and sister are using NutraLuxe Lash MD and omg you would think they wear falsies! It is basically like Latisse but cheaper and I just ordered some for my stumpy little lashes.

Bought Ford some skinny jeans for next winter and can't believe how off sizing is based on store. Salmon ones are 18m from Carter's and the plaid are 18-24m from Old Navy. Weird huh?

Ford sat in a restaurant high chair for the first time last week and it was funny, he was gangster leaning. I think we have a few more weeks before he is sturdy enough to actually enjoy sitting in one.

I went to the grocery store alone last Friday AND to the dentist. Wowzas that was relaxing...never thought I would say that

Something to think about...

Sweet babies FaceTiming

I absolutely love the TimeHop app. You sync all your social media pages and each day it shows you pictures, statuses, tweets from that day in history. No this wasn't 4 years ago but I posted it on Facebook 4 years ago...me, my mom, and Cori looking pretty sweet!

We are taking a family trip to the beach in a week (YAY!) and Ford had to have some stylish sunnies. He was hilarious in them.

Other random stuff...
  • Jon got me crocs for Christmas. They are canvas boat shoe loafers and I love them.
  • We are getting wood floors downstairs so our house is in shambles and we are camping out at my parents. I am so excited for the final results!
  • We got a new bottle, the Medela Calma, and are going to test it out on Mr. Bottle strike this weekend.
What random stuff do you have going on?

Oh my gosh I laughed so hard at the snow picture! I live in Illinois, and the roads were completely covered in a sheet of ice and a few inches of snow Monday. I had to drive 10 MPH to work and everything was open! My Texas relatives were talking about the snow, too.

Ford is such a cutie!

we got 4 inches in eastern NC this week and school was closed for two days and there was two hour delay today, obviously we southerners can't handle snow haha! And girl, Carter's runs SO big, Sawyer is in a 4T everywhere (thanks to his long legs) and a 3T there!

Love the snow day ~ seriously my kids would never go to school if we closed for that :) They did have their 3rd "cold" day off yesterday since Jan. 1. Temps in the -40's with wind chill.... I have a feeling next monday will be their 4th one off.
His lashes are fabulous. What is it with boys? My son has long beautiful lashes too!
Have a great weekend!

I love random. I live random.

I'm in NE, and we have about as much snow as you do. It's been unseasonably warm here too. Oh wait, we did wake to a skiff of snow yesterday...all on the trampoline that is broken so we can't jump on it.
Oh dear. I am random. :)

Stop it with the snow! I about spit my coffee out! I was born and raised in a city right outside Boston, where I now teach, and while they are getting to be more likely to call school for smaller storms, I have definitely been to school when there's a foot of snow on the ground and still coming down. Still, a snow day is a snow day and I love them, I'll take them in any shape or size :) Also, what is up with Carters clothes?! Noelle is now in 3-6 month clothes and Carters 3 month finally fits her right at almost 4 months old. So weird!

I live in Houston and our managers told everyone to stay home today because of the weather. It's pretty cold outside but that's about it.

Love the snow picture!

Thank goodness Old Navy clothes run smaller, Lydia's so tiny….they're some of the best fitting for her!

Yay for time to yourself….I went to Target alone today….sad that it felt like a vacation!

Ahhh, are you so excited about your wood floors? Mary Amanda sold me on a Roomba, it seriously is one of the best things in my life lol. Ford is so precious, he looks just like you AND Jon :-) Embry is a doll too of course!

The sizing on baby clothes drives me CRAZY!

And I can't wait to see your new floors! We had ours done a couple months ago and I was sure I'd lose my mind during the process, thanks to all the dust. But I'm in love with them now!
