Concrete jungle

...where dreams are made of.

And where I am and will be for the rest of the week.

I flew in yesterday for a tradeshow for work that starts tonight. I got to spend time with sweet Miss Amanda (more on that for sure) last night...and she took a piece of my heart back to Stamford...

Jon left Friday morning for a guys weekend in Alpine, TX (West Texas) and this will be the longest we've spent apart since the very beginning of our relationship 3 years ago. Blah. I miss him already. This weekend was supposed to be full of projects around the house but I am battling a disgusting cold that hindered my productivity (oh and not to mention smoke alarms going off at 3am...nice).

I thought I'd coined the term "concrete jungle." Apparently Costa Rica's central valley, which I refer to as the concrete jungle, has lots in common with NYC.
