Saying goodbye to the cabin

If you've kept up with my blog, you know that Jon and I have been in the process of moving over the past 3 weeks and said goodbye to our old house this past weekend. When I met Jon, he was living in a beautiful stilted cabin on Mount Bonnell (for you Austinites, you know how pretty the area was) and it quickly turned into the place where we fell in love and got engaged on July 15th, 2010. The cabin had tall ceilings, wood beams and was full of windows facing the Dry Creek at the base of Mount Bonnell, it was breath taking. The cabin was also about 500 square feet which made it quite cozy for a couple of newlyweds and a crazy little pup so we knew we had to find a place with more space.

It may sound silly but we were sad locking it up for the last time but hope that one day we can come back and visit. Below is a short video of the bare cabin for sentimental reasons :-)
