Last month I did a whole post about Jon's obsession with dressing up (check it out here) so it should come as no surprise to you that we are hosting a wig party for his upcoming birthday. Last night, we ventured into Southeast Austin to hit up The Bazaar , a boutique known for their costumes, lingerie, accessories and wigs, and it was awesome!! The workers were so helpful and didn't complain when we asked to try on multiple wigs. Wigs ranged from $20-$60 with a few specialty wigs a little more pricey (ex. there were wigs with full human hair beards...so funny but borderline gross!). Look at their selection...
Now you will have to wait until after Jon's April 22nd birthday bash to see what we picked out but here were the runners up...
Jon's 2nd place- he looked so creepy in this wig but I was cracking up and imagining him in patchwork overalls and a freckled face for a Pippi Longstocking look
My 2nd place- I don't know why I loved this one so much but I was instantly attracted to it (with the exception of the red jewel)
We also tried on matching Farrah Fawcett wigs, please remind me never to dye my hair blonde! My eyebrows are SO dark and made the hair look terrible!! I wish we could have taken pictures, Jon was definitely entertaining the sales ladies with his choices.
