Birthdays, booze & Baylor Bears

This weekend was awesome. It was 100% exhausting but awesome-sauce. One of our best friends Justin turned 30 on Saturday and his wifey, Leah, threw him a surprise bash. It was epic. I was deemed photog for the night so even though I'm not in many pictures, I promise I was there (that's what ya get when you have a good camera). Jon was cracking me up the entire night. I know exactly when he's had too much to drink. His face turns red and he becomes a dance machine. Someone brought over the Just Dance Wii game and that made things hilarious. The party also doubled as their 3rd annual Christmakkuh party.

We did a white elephant exchange and my finger foods plates were a hit! Thank you Goodwill!

Some cornhole

Wii Dancing (my favorite picture of all time)

Someone was getting cuddly with her husband...or a cutout of him

Flip cup in the garage, college style

Who doesn't love pig in a blanket at 2:38am?

The last time I looked at the clock was somewhere around 3:40am. It was a long but super fun night. We stayed at the birthday boy's casa and woke up with aches and pains and drove to Waco for the Baylor vs Texas game. It rained off and on the entire game but I wasn't complaining- my belly was full of Chick-Fil-A and the Bears kicked some Longhorn booty. It was a great game!!! We stuffed our faces at Ninfa's after the game (someone please open up a Ninfa's in Austin stat!) and made the 1.5 hour car ride home...exhausted!

Sic Em Bears!

Jon and I slept 10.5 hours on Saturday night. It was glorious!! Sunday we went to church, the gym and the grocery store then spent the day cuddled up watching scary shows (we are obsessed with the Investigative Discovery channel). Did anyone watch The Virgin Diaries?? OMG I think I had nightmares about that couple kissing it freaked me out so much.

What did y'all do this weekend?

Thanks again for being an awesome photog and helping me get everything together. The party wouldn't have been the same without you guys. I literally can't remember the last time I had that much fun. Love y'all!

I didn't watch virgin diaries but I did see that first kiss. Ellen had that clip on her show. Very odd first kiss I thought. Looks like you had a super fun weekend and it sounded exhausting just reading it :)

There used to be a Ninfa's in Austin on 183/Rundburg area. They closed down a few years ago. I wish they would re open... so yummy!

I wish I would have been invited to this party..Looks like a blast! My son goes to school with a little boy whose parents named him Baylor..yep after the school. He's adorable and looks like a linebacker even at 4. And, I am with you, the Just Dance picture..classic.

Sounds like a FUN weekend! Have you seen Walking Dead? If you like scary shows, you'd LOVE this series. My husband and I are basically obsessed! :) We slept over 10 hours Saturday night too... It was nothing short of amazing!

That kiss was the creepiest thing ever. I had to turn my head and cover my eyes. If every episode of "Virgin Diaries" is like that, I don't think it will be on my Sunday night line-up. Glad I'm not alone in thinking it was weird!

That party looks like a blast!

And yes, I watched the Virgin Diaries... OMG I'm traumatized. I think My mouth was hanging open in shock the entire hour haha. There was no way those 3 guys were all virgins too!! That just seemed too weird. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but really, what are the odds??

I can't even talk about that couple that got married. There are no words to describe the awkwardness haha.
