Mr. & Mrs. Perry

This weekend my best friend got married. It was by far the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to (maybe I can renew my vows at her venue?? hehe). Not only was the setting breathtaking but the ceremony was just full of love. Alyssa and her husband, Adam, are just on fire for the Lord and you could feel it throughout the entire wedding weekend. I cried my way through the ceremony where Alyssa called Adam a man of conviction and he told her how encouraging and supportive of his leadership she was. These two are meant to be married. And they will ROCK at it!

Friday evening the rehearsal dinner was at Pappasito's and it was not only delicious but a great night. Sorry for the picture overload, I ended up taking 249 pictures the whole weekend :-)

The bride and groom to be

Mr. & Mrs. Hart

After the rehearsal, the bridesmaids had a sleepover at Alyssa's adorable new house. Alyssa and I were roomies freshman year at A&M and it seriously felt like college staying up until 2am talking and laughing in the dark in her room. You don't have sleepovers once you're married so it was fun to experience that! I woke up at 8am and the bride was already up! We spent the morning eating homemade breakfast tacos, watching the new bachelor season (terrible!) and getting our hair and makeup done. It felt so glamorous!

Jon took a few pictures during the ceremony

It was so fun, my sisters came to the wedding too!
Pics from the reception

The send off with fake snow...so fun!

It was such a fabulous weekend. Jon and I were talking about how great it feels to be so happy for others and that it's only possible when you are happy with yourself. I am so lucky to call Alyssa my best friend and sister (gosh I could barely get through my toast at the reception) and I am so honored to have been her matron of honor. I know she won't see this post for a while because her and her husband are spending 10 days in Maui (sigh....) but I love you Mrs. Perry! I can't wait to be wives together!

Beautiful pictures. Beautiful wedding.

I remember going to weddings after our own and how genuinely happy I was for the bride and groom. It isn't until you have experienced how truly special a wedding day is, that your heart can feel so full for your friends.
