Embry wearing a christening gown made from my mom's wedding dress
As I prayed over this little girl, I was reminded of 3 John 1:4, I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth. I think about how much joy Embry has brought her own mother and father and so many more in her short life, yet she brings her heavenly Father an un measurable amount a joy. A joy more fulfilling, everlasting, and greater. Isn't that amazing?! Day after day, sin after sin, we choose ourselves over the Lord yet he continues to love, pursue, and cherish us. He sees so much depth and worth in our daily lives. I sit here feeling my son move around inside of me and think about the joy he has brought my life and my marriage and he isn't even born. And he brings our God such greater joy.
As Jon and I prepare for the birth of our son, we pray that the Lord equips us with the tools needed to nurture our son towards Christ, to teach Him about Jesus, and set an example of a faith based marriage. God has big plans for this little baby and I am blessed beyond belief that He chose us to be a part of the story He is writing.

Emmy is so lucky to have you as her Godparents! Thanks again for everything on Sunday! Love y'all!
This is just beautiful. God bless embry!
How special that her gown was made from your mom's wedding dress!!
how special that her gown was made from your mother's wedding dress!! Our son Sawyer wore a little white outfit that his daddy wore home from the hospital (his daddy was a giant newborn haha). I love dedications and the ceremony of proclaiming your dedication to raise your children in the light of the Lord.
she's so precious! what an honor that you got to be there for her big day!
That's so sweet that her christening gown was made from your moms wedding dress! Too perfect!
