Last weekend Ernie had a friend over to play.
He enjoyed giving baby Logan lots of slobbery kisses (and Logan slobbered back too)
Logan loved Ernie's extra skin
And Ernie loved the taste of his sticky hands
Ernie has some monster jowls and I think Logan thought they were nice and squishy
Ernie tried to teach Logan how to walk (and then forgot Logan only had two legs)
"Jump on my back buddy"
And then they played an intense game of tug o war
Ready to smile??
Ernie will make a great big brother someday and I emphasize the someday because he is still a crazy, stubborn, attention seeking pup but we wouldn't have it any other way!
Are your dogs/pets good around kiddos? If you had a pet before you had babies, how did they adjust?

How Cute!! I love it. I've always wanted a French Bulldog. They're just adorable! We have a English Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and she's THE best!! She made it through my youngest son's terrible 2 phase with flying colors, and she sits at the door in the afternoon then starts to cry when she hears the school bus coming with my older son (he's 6). She sleeps in their room every night and cuddles between them to watch family movies. She's the greatest!!

awwww! suzie use to be TERRIBLE around kids... like she would make me so nervous. latley though she's so chill and calm and just lays with them and lets them play with her. i dont know if she's getting older...or getting ready ;) lol
This is too cute!! Looks like a fun weekend. Love the baby's laugh - just adorable. Our dog is great with kids, though we don't have any yet. I think Astro would make a good big brother too ;)

The picture where he's pulling his jowls,made me belly laugh out loud. The look on the dogs face is priceless. Love it!
My dogs are both really good with Maggie, but they do get a little jumpy when there are bigger kids around screaming and jumping all around. I usually put them in another room so they don't get too stressed out. Hopefully they will get used to it as Maggie gets older since they will be around her every day.

I don't know that there is much cuter in this life than a baby and a dog! My goodness these are adorable. We have an awesome boxer and she was wonderful before kiddos and continues to be so...we are lucky :)
Seriously, how can you not smile when you hear Logan giggle! Super cute! We have a dog, who is great around our kids. However, we didn't get her until our oldest was 2, so she's always been around kids.

We don't have any pets, but my parents have a little dog named Marley. Her and my son, Cash, are best friends. It's so adorable to watch them interact. I keep thinking I need to do a blog post on Cash and Marley!!

Oh my goodness! What a precious little pup!!!
We currently have a 78lb English Bulldog who gets..ehh..well, there is no other way to say it... HORNY at the smell of babies. He will hump whoever is holding the baby. He isn't vicious or in "attack" mode, but their smells definitely get him excited. He is 2.5 yrs old.
I am hoping by the time we bring a baby into this world...2 years if all goes well, Brutus will be too old to get excited over them?
In other news, that black brindle frenchie is EXACTLY what we want for our next dog. Absolutely beautiful!
