The past 2 days I haven't had huge inspiration when it comes to blogging, yesterday's post has been in my queue for a while so I was happy to have something to post. I got tons of great comments/ideas on yesterday's post so if you missed it, check out the 10 questions you should ask before having kids. Sorry if today's post puts you to sleep haha, I do have good ideas for next week whew.
- We are dog sitting the 2nd most adorable pup ever (Ernie is obvi our 1st) this week. He is so tiny and light, unlike Mr. Ernie who is a solid chunk with a massive head haha. Peanut has been cuddling us non stop and was so funny when we would kiss. He wanted to get right up in our business.
- I bought tickets to see The Vow this weekend. Since I will be traveling on Valentine's Day, we are going to celebrate on Sunday (but Jon doesn't know I bought the tickets hehe...well I guess he does now, what man doesn't want to see this movie come on?). I am not a movie theater person at all, I have to REALLY want to see the movie to go.
- Tonight we are having 9 people over for dinner tonight, it will be a full house! My g-parents are in town from Chicago and they haven't seen our home so I am excited to show it off before we move. This weekend will be full of family stuff and we are really looking forward to it.
- In the past 2 weeks, I have had 4 Facebook friends tell me they want to start a blog and if I could help and it feels so good to know people like what I do :-). When I first started blogging, my blog was so plain and boring and I love knowing I created everything all on my own.
- Ernie loves sitting by the front window and be on the lookout. It's really funny and cute. Jon says Ernie is extra aware around 5p when he knows I am coming home.
- I mentioned on Monday that I have been suffering bad heart burn. I've had it in the past but never this bad. I would love if anyone shared their heart burn remedies. Milk of Magnesia seems to work for me but it has other side effects haha.
- We are going to San Francisco next week and reaaaaaalllly looking forward to it! We've both been in the past 3 years but not together (and Jon's was pure business). We are going to Muir Woods and booked the night tour of Alcatraz. I have a list of restaurants my FB friends recommended but I would more! We want to eat seafood of course and love divey-local places (we usually check out where Man v. Food has been or Diners Drive Ins and Dives has been in the city we are in).
- Last but not least....I will leave you with some amazing news....I am going to be a bridesmaid in October!!!!! IN MEXICO!! One of my beautiful friends and bridesmaids sent me the sweetest little note with a wrapped ring pop asking if I would be her bridesmaid. I got so giddy talking to her last night. Look at where we are staying in Riveria Maya! (source)
Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

I'm the same way as you about movies - I have to REALLY want to to see it to go to the theater. It's just not my favorite thing to do.
Also, what resort is that?! It's gorgeous! I also have a wedding in the Riveria Maya in Feb of 2013, so I'm excited to hear about your friend's wedding!
Have a great weekend!
Yes it is all about loveeee! Like how I don't have to be far away from my love anymore! WOOHOO! And I'm jealous you're going to mejico! I'm also jealous that you're going to San Fran, but I can't remember any of the restaurants we went to, so I can't help you out there lol. It was a LONG time ago. Happy weekend!!!
The resort is beautiful! We're going to Cabo in April with another couple & can't wait to be somewhere tropical.
I love the updates on your life and how you're doing! Have a great weekend friend.
Have fun with your dinner party!!
Try some Tums for the heartburn!
There is some awesome randomness going on here!
Mexico?! AWESOME!! Peanut is ADORABLE! Jax does the same thing around 5pm too :) Andddd have fun this weekend! I'm hoping to see The Vow too! Xoxo
Peanut is beyond adorable! Good Luck with the big dinner tonight! I love playing hostess! :) AND, we went to Riviera Maya for our honeymoon and are obsessed! So jealous!

I love helping people start blogs! So fun! :) And I am SO JEALOUS about San Fran. I want to go there so badly. And I am totally doing the night tour of Alcatraz when we go!!!
-I have had those moments where I'm not sure what the heck to blog about... so sometimes I just wait it out until I have something worth talking about.
-I get heartburn from time to time and I haven't found anything that stops it (other than HB medication), but I know that you should avoid drinking water while you have, it makes it worse!
-I have begged my BF to go see the vow with me.. he said he would take me, buy the tickets, drop me off and pick me up when it's over. Lol! Maybe I should just buy the tickets and tell him it's for a diff. movie!
Sorry for the long comment! Have a good one!
Blogging has been a struggle for me to :( I think writing comes and goes in phases, and hopefully it will pick back up soon!
So exciting that you get to be in a wedding in Mexico. I'm going to be in my best friend's wedding in August in California! I can't wait :)

How cute! I love weddings!!! Can't wait to see the vow, I just posted about it.
I think the Vow looks like a great movie ~ you'll have to give us a review :)
San Fran sounds super fun right now, but Mexico in Oct. will be blast!
Have a great weekend ~ sounds busy, but wonderful!
I'm going to see The Vow tonight and i'm SO excited!!
Wow lots of weddings going on! Sounds so awesome.
Drink peppermint tea. I drink it for my nausea every morn and it also helps with indigestion and heartburn. :-)
I am having the same problem this week with blog post ideas- I keep doing link ups because I can't think anymore! Your 10 questions didn't bore me at all actually, I loved it! Im sure I'l be asking myself those questions in a few years lol!
I hate movie theatres too. I find them too hot/too cold, not comfortable, hate being around a bunch of strangers like that. Ugh! Can't stand them. We loved Bubba Gump at the Fisherman's Warf, and the clam chowder at Chowders (also on the same Pier) is still something I dream about. The best sushi we have eaten was at Miyabi Sushi, cute little place. We've been to a few old prisons (a couple in Wyoming) and really loved the tour of Alcatraz. There was an inmate doing a book signing, who was cranky. I asked him if he was happy to be back on the island on much better curcumstances than when he was there previously. He snapped back with, "I'm just trying to make a living." I suggest not making small talk!
ooohh so exciting ruthie!! riveria maya here you come!! i love what a sweet way she asked you to be apart of her wedding, how precious!!
Ernie is ready for mom to come home! Have a safe and fun time on your trip. Can't wait to hear and see all about it.
Ahh I'm so excited to see The Vow this weekend. I just bought the book and I'm hoping to finish it tonight so that I can see the movie tomorrow. Happy weekend! XoXo

That doggie you are sitting is so cute! And I love that Ernie looks out the window and waits for you :)
I love random posts like these! :) hope you had a lovely time with your family tonight. I bet you are the cutest hostess ever! San Fran...I'm so jealous! I have always wanted to visit there!
