I had been counting down the days till the lake weekend for months now! A group of our friends went out to my parents lakehouse for a mini getaway and I am still sad that weekend is over! This is our 3rd lake weekend and we already want to plan another. 4 couples headed up Friday night and another joined us on Saturday.
Highlights include:
The men taking shots of coconut rum (out of necklace shot glasses and mason jars)
Dirty Bananagrams (super fun game and of course it doesn't have to be dirty!) Oh and thank you Mary for blurring out the tiles ;-)
Way too much food and summer beer (pictures below thanks to summer beer and sangria)
Staying up until 3am (I haven't seen that hour since our wedding!)
Toes in the water, ass in the sand
God's country!

Hanging out with my sisterwife Leah and her hubby J-Mac
And of course Ernie had a blast shoving his nose in the sand, eating dead fish carcasses and romping with his pal, Ross
This was by far one of the best weekends I've had this summer!

super fun lake weekend...love it! i'm about to have one of those kind {3 am...what?!} of wknds too. i have a feel'n i'll be hating life come monday. but, it'll be worth it. right?! =/
