One year ago today

This happened...

And it was my fault.

Thank God no one was hurt (with the exception of my sweet Honda CRV and coincidentally, an identical CRV).

How did this happen?

Believe it or not, I was returning home from the Honda dealership because something about my airbag was being recalled  (funny thing is my airbag did not deploy during this accident). I was coming over a hill at 30mph and did not realize traffic was backed up. It was the scariest moment of my life.

I was very shaken up and he woman in front of me started screaming and yelling in my face, not ideal. I called my dad since Jon was on a plane and he immediately came to my rescue. An older gentleman who witnessed the accident calmed me down while waiting for my dad, he was a blessing. I woke up the next morning sore with whiplash but kept thanking God no one was severely injured. I actually bought my wedding dress that next day.

Cars can be fixed. People can't.

Unfortunately my car was declared totaled but everything happens for a reason. A month later, Jon and I purchased my future mom car.

I love my car so much but I can't help but to think about the circumstances that caused me to buy it.

Although I was NOT texting and driving during this accident, please keep others safe and refrain from doing so.

You're so lucky that nobody was seriously hurt! I've never been in a big accident (thank god) but I can't even imagine how scary it must be...

So glad you're safe! Car accidents are verrrry scary, no matter how minor or major. Lexus RX is awesome! My mom drives the hybrid version, and it's such a luxury vehicle :)

Car accidents are by far one of the most scary things.

I was rear ended (super hard) by a drunk driver a couple of years ago. My car didn't get totaled but the car that hit me, his car did. I was fine, just had a headache!

I'm so glad you were ok!!! I love your new car! I just test drove one of those babies!!!

Hi New Friendly!!! Not sure exactly how I stumbled upon you and your cute little life, but glad I did!

Speaking of txt'ing & driving... almost fetchin' got broadsided this am by a chick txting! I layed on the horn... my little Anglenugget bursted out into tears and somehow we drove away unharmed.

Scary!

Congrats on the new beaut!

I'm happy you were okay! I've been rear-ended before and I've backed into people before. Car accidents are ALWAYS scary, no matter how small. At least you got a sweet ride and you had someone watching out for you! :)
